These batteries work great. I bought them to replace the two batteries that came with my 16" OneVan chain saw. I had purchased the electric saw online on from a big store that begins with W. The batteries work well and I also used them for a portable LED worklight. They seem compatable with 18 volt Makita tools. Be sure to check the voltage and make sure the tool is 18 volts because these batteries are 18 volts.
